I'm a barrister by profession but that's only to fund my real niche in
life, which is fly-fishing. I'm also a field editor for the South African
magazine "The Complete Fly Fisherman".
I enjoy fly-fishing in both fresh- and saltwater. The crystal clear
mountain streams around Cape Town is where I spend most of my time, but I
enjoy travelling to destinations where I can fish for salty critters. My
favorite destinations are Boca Grande (Florida) and the Seychelles.
Apart from the fly-fishing aspect, I also enjoy tying flies, whether they
are tiny trout flies or large saltwater patterns for sailfish and tuna.
