Hook:

Original pattern used Mustad 3906B, I prefer a Tiemco 200R #4-10. I usually weight the from of the hook shank with non-lead wire

Thread:

Danville Flymaster 6/0 flourescent fire orange

Tail:

Marabou or fur strip. One strand of crystal flash on each sid

Rib:

Appropriate size mylar tinsel, oval or flat

Body:

Dubbing, tyer's choice. I prefer a blend of Australian opposum and clear Antron

Wingcase:

Peacock herl

Legs:

Speckled hen

Originated by Bob Clouser as a smallmouth bass pattern. A very good trout fly as well! The flies shown are my favorite colors: Cream, Brown, Olive and Orange/Rust.
